The 9 Keys to PLAY your best golf

1.  It's YOUR swing - Own it
Searching for the "picture perfect" swing will not result in lower scores.  Instead learn to control the ball with the swing you have. It's your fingerprint.  Focus your efforts on skills that will result in lower SCORES! Know the feel of getting your club face square at impact and you will have ball control.

2.  Golf Skills Assessment
Golfers tend to work on things they like or are good at. To improve let's focus on the parts of the game that cost you the most shots.  Conduct skills assessments regularly.

6.  Coaching is Essential to Learning Golf
Learning a motor skill involves continuous feedback and training over a period of time.
Steps to Skill Building- Engagement, Repetition and Accurate feedback. Have a clear intention of your activity. For example- If you are working on changing (REFINING) your grip, do many reps, fully FOCUSED on only the grip, while providing accurate feedback about the activity. Once new grip becomes (HABIT), take it to the golf course and PLAY. Remember- under pressure you may revert back to old grip until you have played more rounds. Be patient with On Course development.

7.  Fitness for Peak Performance
As a TPI Certified Fitness Instructor I am trained to detect a physical limitation that is causing a swing fault. The mind adapts to what the BODY can do and thus creates a way to hit the ball. YOUR swing or "fingerprint". Incorporating a daily stretching routine will allow your body to make a more efficient swing.  Nutrition is also another key ingredient to play your best. What you eat and drink while playing can effect your performance.

8.  What we think Over the Ball - OTB
In all aspects of life there is a time for Thought and a time for Action. Moment of truth is when you are able to shift from thinking about doing something to actually doing it. Over the Ball (OTB) you must be totally present and through your senses completely engaged with the swing and shot. This will help you find TRUST and leave clutter and doubt behind.
